oh apple! i remember looking at this small white thing called macintosh when i was taking courses at sva in the early 90s and tried to make my first film in 2d animation. i wish i still had that file somewhere. during my study there the computer snowballed into this mega wonder with unlimited possibilities. to me mac was art in itself as well as an essential tool to create art. just like everyone else my perfect love affair with it started and lasted without a hitch for so long. it’s sad to think though even something this good can’t last forever. can it be saved? or gently make way for some complete new innovation coming our way.
